This video explores targeted therapy, which aims to specifically attack molecular targets on cancer cells while sparing healthy tissue. It explains the importance of genetic testing in identifying specific targets for treatment and provides an overview of how targeted therapy is given.

Information on how to manage side effects of treatment is also covered. We have used a traffic light system to help you recognise red side-effects which you need to act on quickly and get medical help for, amber side-effects which need monitoring and some advice, and green side-effects which can be safely managed at home.

It’s also a good idea to download the Targeted Therapy and you booklet to learn more about what you can expect when you go through targeted therapy.
