One of the things I love most about being a doctor is getting to hear people’s stories.
My story began almost 7000 kilometres away, in Sri Lanka. As a young boy, my family migrated to Australia - a continent with the oldest living culture on Earth, and it was here I developed a love for science.
I could never have imagined how pursuing that passion would impact my life and my mother’s.
