Ulcerative Colitis (UC) is an autoimmune condition that is characterised by inflammation and ulcers on the inner lining of the large intestine. The symptoms include diarrhoea, passing blood in stools, abdominal and/or rectal pain, urgency to have a bowel movement, weight loss & fatigue.¹
