Swans can cut it off field

Staff from Pfizer Australia's West Ryde site raised $4,444 for the World's Greatest Shave for Care and Cure for the Leukaemia Foundation last Thursday. Pfizer Australia matched the figure, bringing the total to $8,888.
Hair today, gone tomorrow. The World’s Greatest Shave for Care and Cure was again at Pfizer Australia on Thursday May 4 at noon.
Sydney Swans players, including Jared Crouch and Amon Buchanan, will visit Pfizer Australia’s head office at West Ryde to participate in cuts, colours and trims.
The research based medicines company, Pfizer Australia, has hosted the successful fundraising event that raises funds to the Leukaemia foundation for the past three years.
Last year, Sydney Swan Nick Davies revelled in the opportunity to have his own hair coloured, as well as flexing his skills and colouring the hair of Pfizer Australia employees.
Pfizer Australia desktop services engineer Khalil Eid has participated each year in the event that raises vital funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. The Leukaemia Foundation cares for patients and families living with leukaemia, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders.
“My wife hates me shaving my head, but not when she knows it’s for a great cause,” Khalil said. “It’s really exciting having the Swans here for it.”
