Pfizer Allays Concern about its Animal Health Products
Friday May 9, 2003
Pfizer Australia, the country’s leading animal heathcare company, has
moved to allay potential concerns about its products, none of which are involved
in the Pan Pharmaceuticals recall.
Pfizer Australia says NO products made or marketed by it and its new affiliate
company, Pharmacia Australia, are affected. Pan Pharmaceuticals is not a supplier
of either company.
Pfizer Australian Animal Health Group Business Director, Dr Vincent Guyonnet,
said there was some potential public confusion about the status of animal healthcare
products.
“Veterinarians, livestock producers and pet owners using products under
the Pfizer Australia or Pharmacia Australia banners can be confident they had
been produced to the strictest standards”
said Dr Guyonnet.
