Pfizer, Pharmacia Products not Affected

The country’s leading pharmaceutical and consumer health care company, Pfizer Australia, has stressed none of its products are affected by the current Pan Pharmaceuticals recall.

Pfizer Australia says products made or marketed by its new affiliate company, Pharmacia Australia, are also unaffected.

Director of Corporate Affairs, Greg Massey, said users of medicines and consumer products under the Pfizer Australia or Pharmacia Australia banners could be confident they had been produced to the strictest standards. Neither Pfizer or Pharmacia sources material from Pan.

Pfizer Australia Consumer Healthcare Products include Actifed CC, Agarol, Anusol, Aquasun, Banlice, Benadryl, Brondecon, Codral, ClearBlue, Combantrin, Desitin, Dymadon, Everbronze, Fefol, Feldene, Infacol, Lipsed, Listerine, Listermint, Mylanta, Ponstan, Rectinol, Rosken Skin Repair, Sinutab, Stingose, Sudafed, Tussinol, Visine and Zyrtec. Pharmacia Australia Consumer Healthcare Products include Dozile, Dramamine, Microlax, Nicorette, Rogaine and Sorbilax.
